Test Bench

This is an old style illustration done in about 1988, using the pencil and ink method, we would use engineering drgs and construct the 3D illustration in pencil on a 3D perspective grid to precise measurements and then ink the illustration with technical drawing pens and our various inking aids, this was still a wonderful way to go about the art of illustration, with computers you can be more precise, quicker, but nothing beats that feeling of the ink pen in your hand, or the airbrush flowing away as you spray those colours, I dunno maybe I'm just old fashioned
