Ledelei-Skullet Warrior

.....The battle for the Skullet leadership was drawing to a close, with King Hausen dead, there had been fierce rivalry amongst the tribes to see who would fill his spot, the closest he had to a heir was Ledelei, born from one of his many wifes in the Harem, and not a senior wife at that...Ledelei had led a strange existence, her mother knowing how the clans valued bravery, ferocity and skill with weapons, had had Ledelei taught by the Kings warriors in the art of fighting, the Skullet way...the skullet way is one of the hardest techniques to learn, it is a energy that is borne through the mind and trained to explode throughout the body, a very powerful form of fighting indeed, it required extreme amounts of concentration and skill to master this, Ledelei was a natural, so much so that she soon rose through the ranks, until one day she had found herself a general of sorts in King Hausen's amries....then came his untimely death, and as I have said, the tribes were in one big state of upheavel, it had come down to two, who challenged for the leadership, all others having been killed or wounded in the stages that had preceded this final confrontation, Ledelei and one of the Princes from the North territories...the challenge would take place tomorrow, armed only with a 56' calibre single shot rifle and three rounds, they would hunt each other in the valley of the long shadows, wherein one would die and one would emerge King, or Queen in Ledelei's case.....so now here we are, Ledelei, who has her warmask already adorned, painted and braided, sits and prepares her mind for tomorrows battle, knowing full well that even if she does win, there is no time in the history of the Skullet, that a woman has ruled, she has decided to forego the only weapon allowed to her and hunt him down using only the Skullet way, knowing then there might be a chance for her to rule the mighty Skullet tribes of the vast Never Regions, her mind was already preparing her castle, for when she would lead, she would build it here, here by the valley of the Long Shadows, where anybody who walked the road to see her, would remember, remember it was she, Ledelei who had fought and conquered this upstart Prince and won herself the leadership of the Skullet tribes, the mightiest of the Never Regions.........then after awhile she came back to the challenge at hand, focusing her mind on the battle before her, but I will not bore you with this, for now is a time for Ledelei to prepare, it is a difficult thing she must do, and she must do it the Skullet way, if she dies, she won't be remembered, but if she lives, she will live forever, for history will tell her story over and over again, but as I say, now we must leave, Ledelei must prepare.........
